Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A property search in Playa del Carmen has resulted in two jailed and a large stash of marijuana seized. On Wednesday, police searched a home in Villas del Sol where they located 65 kilos of marijuana.
The search operation also lead to the arrest of 23-year-old Miguel Ángel HC and 20-year-old Sherlyn del Carmen HC. Both were found inside the home guarding several large cardboard boxes.
Inside the boxes police located transparent bags of marijuana totaling approximately 65 kilos.
