Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man was arrested by Playa del Carmen police after the owner of a vehicle reported it as just being stolen.
Police were quick to respond to the report of the stolen pickup truck after the owner said he left his truck idling on the street when someone jumped in and drove away. The green pickup, which was outfitted with an oversized cargo cage in the bed, was spotted approaching the police filter at the north end of the city.
The vehicle was pulled over by police and the male driver arrested and taken to the Public Security facilities.
