Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The driver of a motorcycle was rushed to hospital with head trauma after colliding with the side of a car.
The accident happened along Playa del Carmen Boulevard Monday afternoon when the driver of the bike crashed into the side of a passing car.
Paramedics had to immobilize the wounded man to transfer him to the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS). Due to the seriousness of his injuries, the ambulance in which he was transported was escorted by a police unit. There is no word on his condition. His identity has not been revealed.
