Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A resident of central Gonzalo Guerrero was arrested Thursday after shooting two of his neighbors. The three adults were reportedly in the midst of a heated discussion when the man pulled out a gun.
Other area residents reported a fight to police who arrived to find two people had been shot. Neighbor witnesses told police the three people were in the middle of a dispute when the man, identified as Arcadio “N”, took out a gun and shot them.
Police secured the area while the shooting victims, a woman of approximately 50 and a male between the age of 25 and 30, were transferred to hospital. Authorities began a search for the alleged shooter, who was located and arrested in possession of a weapon.
According to reports, Arcadio “N”, a PDC bus driver, is known by his neighbors for his confrontational attitude.
