Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Playa del Carmen lifeguards were on site Tuesday to tend to a man who had an epileptic seizure while on a central beach.
The 56-year-old Colombian tourist was enjoying the beach with his son when he experience an epileptic seizure. The seizure caused the man to fall and convulse in the water, which is when lifeguards rushed to pull him out of the sea.
The man was attended to on the beach, and although an ambulance arrived, he was not transported to hospital, being deemed okay.
