Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — After brushing up against a taxi and leaving scratches, the driver of the guilty car decided to flee, however, his decision turned out to be a bad one.
After realizing what happened, the driver of the compact car thought it best to clear the area, however, in his rush to leave, he rearended a motortaxi which lead to him crashing head on into a concrete pillar.
The chain of incidents ended in the Villas del Sol Plus subdivision of Playa del Carmen but started along Avenue CTM with the first collision where he scraped a taxi, leaving marks on the car. Rather than stick around, the driver fled toward Villas del Sol, however, about 50 meters from Flamencos Avenue, he hit several orange cones that were placed along the roadway for fiber optic workers.
That lead to him crashing into the back of a motortaxi which resulted in the compact car being completely smashed in after its front came to rest against a few concrete pillars.
The taxi driver, who was following the car that scratched his, watched what happened to the driver and car and preferred to leave, no longer demanding anything.
Despite the spectacular nature of the accident, no one was injured.
