Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Personnel from the Public Services unit of the municipality found a human body inside a refrigerator Wednesday. The report was made by city workers who found the fridge thrown in a green area of Playa del Carmen.
The city workers were cutting vegetation when they noticed the old fridge. When they opened it, they found a decomposing body stuffed inside. Playa del Carmen authorities were sent to the scene around 11:00 a.m. where they confirmed the body inside the fridge was that of a human.
The discovery was made behind a park near the Pescadores II subdivision of Playa del Carmen. Additional details including the sex of the body, was not provided. Forensic Medical personnel arrived to remove the body for an autopsy.
