Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man who was reported for bothering passengers on a public combi ended up getting himself arrested on drug charges. According to information from Seguridad Pública, the driver of the combi stopped at the northern police filer to report the pesky man.
While driving from Cancun to Playa del Carmen, several passengers inside the public transport unit reported him to the driver for being bothersome. Once the combi reached the federal filter, the driver stopped to ask for police assistance with the troublesome passenger.
Elements of the Public Safety and Municipal Transit Secretariat, who were accompanied by a canine binomial, asked the male passenger to step out from the combi. He did so, bringing a suitcase with him.
While outside the unit, the police dog detected narcotics inside the suitcase. An inspection revealed a packaged block of marijuana for which Fransisco N was detained and transferred to Playa del Carmen police facilities.
