Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A Solidaridad police officer remains at large after allegedly stabbing another officer. The incident happened Thursday night inside a private residence in the city’s extreme west in Villas del Sol.
According to preliminary information, officer Rogelio “N” arrived at the home of Miguel “N” in an attempted confrontation after, according to local reports, he learned the man was having an affair with his wife.
During the argument, Rogelio “N” is alleged to have stabbed Miguel “N” with a knife. The victim was rushed to hospital with knife wounds to his neck, face and arm. His condition is unknown.
Local law enforcement have not issued a pubic statement on the stabbing, nor have they announced any arrests.
