Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A motorcycle driver lost several fingers after being hit by a city combi in a weekend highway collision. The driver was attempting to enter a Playa del Carmen gas station Sunday when he was hit.
An ambulance responding to the Luis Donaldo Colosio Avenue accident found the man laying on the road. He is reported to have lost three fingers from his left hand. Paramedics stabilized the bleeding before transferring him to hospital.
It is not clear who was at fault. City Transit was left to sort out the accident details.
