Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Two men and one woman were detained from the Villas del Sol residential area of Playa del Carmen Wednesday. They were arrested after police found them in possession of hundreds of bags of narcotics.
Police located the trio during routine surveillance. They were seen exchanging bags of narcotics on a public street and tried to run when they noticed the approaching officers. When finally stopped and inspected, authorities located more than 530 bags of narcotics that included marijuana and a variety of cocaine products.
Twenty four year old Ivanna N from Tabasco was taken into custody along with 19-year-old Brayan N from Guanajuato and 44-year-old Jaime N from Michoacán.
