Playas de Rosarito, Baja California — The Ministry of National Defense says more than 300 kilos of methamphetamine was found inside a private home in the state of Baja California.
The finding was made Saturday by the Mexican Army and the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) due to an ongoing investigation.
In a statement the agency said “as a result of the intelligence and inter-institutional coordination work, military personnel learned that a property located in the municipality of Playas de Rosarito in Baja California was being used to carry out illegal activities.”
On the private property authorities found and seized approximately 341 kilos of methamphetamine along with three vehicles and the property itself. Their statement did not mention any arrests.
