Bacalar, Q.R. — Minor material damage was the only result of a single vehicle incident at the front of a Bacalar restaurant. The accident happened Monday on 30th Street when the driver of the private car suddenly swerved off the road.
The vehicle came to a rest on the sidewalk, mere inches from the entrance to a restaurant.
Witnesses to the mishap called police. Elements from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) arrived to find the driver still at the scene.
Wet roads and speed were considered as factors in the morning the accident. A tow truck was brought in to remove the car from the front of the Bacalar eatery.
