Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A Saturday night hit and run has left one Playa del Carmen man dead. City medical responders located the man near Pavo Real Avenue after a 5:00 a.m. report of the accident.
The unnamed man was driving on a moto when he was hit by a car whose driver did not stop. Witnessed told police the car sped off toward the Villas del Sol residential area.
The moto driver was found with his helmet off. After being projected from his bike, he landed on rocks and is believed to have died on impact.
