Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A Saturday accident south of Playa del Carmen cost one woman her life while leaving four others with injuries. The accident was reported to authorities Saturday afternoon when passing motorists saw a gray compact car hit the center median and flip.
The roll left the car in the opposite-facing lane. When emergency personnel arrived, they found two of the vehicle’s occupants laying on the highway. One was pronounced on scene, while the second was rushed to hospital. Three others from inside the car were also transferred for medical attention.
The names of those involved in the accident have not been provided. Details on what caused the accident are also unknown.
