Othón P. Blanco, Q.R. — Elements of the Secretariat of the Navy of Mexico along with elements of the National Guard have detained four people in possession of 160 kilos of marijuana. Navy personnel reported that the discovery was made in the town of Sacxan, in the municipality of Othón P. Blanco after officers offered assistance to the driver of a pick-up truck who had just lost control and left the road.
In the bed of the pickup, officers saw large packages wrapped in tape emanating the smell of marijuana. An inspection revealed 36 bricks with an approximate weight of 160 kilograms.
A total of four people were arrested. The marijuana and pickup truck were seized as evidence.
