Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man found with stab wounds has been found dead inside a Playa del Carmen apartment. The discovery of the body was made Tuesday night.
Concerned neighbors of Palmas Turquesa checked on the man after they reported not seeing him for two days. He was seen through a window laying face down in a pool of blood.
Neighbors called police who arrived to find the man inside his apartment with stab wounds to his abdomen. Paramedics from the fire department confirmed his death.
The unidentified man was located dead inside his apartment around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night with four stab wounds to his abdomen as well as other wounds to various parts of his body.
Residents are reported to have not seen or heard anything suspicious regarding the man or the home. Police have not commented.
