Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Four out-of-state youths have been jailed on drug and firearm charges from a Playa del Carmen neighborhood. Three men and one woman were detained from the streets of Villas del Sol after 911 received a report of drug dealers.
Police responding to the report located the group of four on the corner of Calle Jilgueros and Avenida CTM. An inspection revealed one loaded weapon and ammo along with one replica weapon and 61 bags of narcotics.
Those arrested ranged in age from 21 to 29 and were from the states of Yucatan, Veracruz and Tabasco.
