Narcotics dog responsible for Playa del Carmen bus depot arrest

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A member of the canine narcotics unit is said responsible for the arrest of a female bus passenger at the 20th Avenue station Friday.

Police from la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública y Tránsito de Solidaridad reported the detainment of a female inside the bus terminal after she was found carrying bags of marijuana. The bags of drugs were detected by narcotic dog Kano, who, after sniffing her black duffel bag, marked it positive for drugs.

Inside the bag, police found 12 bags of marijuana hidden under food products. The unidentified woman was placed at the disposal of the federal Public Ministry for the demarcation of responsibilities.
