Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A Playa del Carmen motorcycle driver was killed after colliding with a large truck then being run over. The highway accident was reported to authorities south of the city by motorists.
The unidentified motorcycle driver was heading south when he collided with the truck near the Sac Tun overpass. According to preliminary information, the driver was hit by a second vehicle after falling from his bike on the highway.
Transit Police did not provide information on any arrests or detainment of the two trucks involved in the accident, nor did they identify the deceased.
