More than 4 tons of marijuana seized from Tijuana building

Tijuana, Baja California — The Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) reports the seizure of more than 4 tons of marijuana during the raid of a building in the city of Tiajuana.

La Fiscalía General de la República (FGR) says elements of the Municipal Police of Tijuana were tipped off to the building being used to store marijuana. When they entered the building in the Terrazas de la Presa neighborhood, they found more than 4.6 tons of the drug in 649 packages.

The marijuana, along with the building, were insured by the Federal Public Ministry who, authorities say, continue to investigation to find those responsible.
