Ensenada, Baja California — In a statement Monday, the Ministry of National Defense said elements of the Mexican Army carried out the assurance of 480 kilos of marijuana along with a shipment of methamphetamine found in Ensenada, Baja California.
In their statement, the Ministry reported the discovery and subsequent seizure of the drug shipment that happened during a land survey near the municipality of El Rosario in Ensenada. The seizure consisted of 480 kilos of marijuana along with an undetermined amount of crystal meth that they say would have an estimated market value of more than 2.7 million peso.
