Chetumal, Q.R. — In a military operation along the Chetumal-Felipe Carrillo Puerto highway, a truck carrying 280 packages of cocaine was found and seized.
The packages, which weighed just over 310 kilos, were seized by the Secretariat of National Defense after military officers made the find near Fransicsco Hu-May in the south of the state.
Aside from seizing the packages of cocaine, two Kenworth tractor trailers and two SUVs were also confiscated as part of their drug bust operation. A total of four Mexican nationals were taken into custody.
