Murijakichi, Sonora — The Ministry of National Defense reports the discovery of two abandoned vehicles loaded with more than 2 tons of marijuana in the town of Murijakichi, in the municipality of Cucurpe.
In their statement, the Ministry says the events occurred when military personnel carried out ground surveys near the town of Murijakichi where they located two abandoned pickup trucks which were loaded with 706 packages of marijuana.
They added that in addition to the packages of marijuana, military personnel also found bags, rolls of nylon, 12 chargers and 360 7.62 mm caliber cartridges, all of which were seized.
