Mexico City, Mexico — In compliance with the Extradition Treaty signed between Mexico and the United States, two men have been extradited to face U.S. charges. Both men were delivered to U.S. federal marshals Friday at the Mexico City International Airport for separate incidences.
Alejandro “M” was wanted by the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, for the crimes of sexual abuse and rape. According to the FGR, from 1986 to 1997, Alejandro “M” committed these crimes against a minor. He was arrested on April 18 in Cuernavaca, Morelos.
In the second case, Rosendo “D” was extradited and handed over to the Superior Court of the State of Arizona in Pima County. He was also wanted for the crime of sexual abuse of a minor. He was arrested in May in Nogales, Sonora.
Subsequently, the Government of Mexico granted the extradition of those claimed to the Government of the United States. They were delivered at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) to the US agents.
