Holbox, Q.R. — The search of a house on the island of Holbox resulted in the arrest of two subjects, drug insurance and the discovery of wildlife, reported the Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo.
The agency said that after an investigation by the Office of the Special Prosecutor, a search warrant was requested for a home located on Paseo Kuka in Holbox.
With the warrant granted, police entered the home and found several bags of marijuana and cocaine as well as a weigh scale and a motorcycle along with live wildlife. Police say from inside they home, they also seized a spider monkey and two parrots, which were made available to staff of the delegation of the Procuraduría de Protección al Ambiente (Profepa).
Darwin N and José Mauricio N were arrested from inside the house and made available to ministerial authorities.
