Cozumel, Q.R. — Cozumel mayor Pedro Joaquín Delbouis reports the arrival of more cruise ships. In a press release, the mayor highlighted that the arrival of three cruise ships is expected for Thursday.
On Thursday, for the first time since the pandemic began, three cruise ships will arrive on the same day he said, adding that Celebrity Equinox, Carnival Vista and Carnival Breeze will dock at Cozumel.
“We will have a picture that has not been seen for many months and that, without a doubt, we Cozumel residents have longed for,” said Pedro Joaquín Delbouis.
Joaquin Delbouis also said according to the scheduled agendas, Cozumel will receive about 400 cruises before the end of 2021, mentioning that the arrival of the ships helps to advance in the economic reactivation and the generation of jobs for the local people.
“We are going to continue with actions that allow us to strengthen this industry, in addition to those already in place to diversify tourism and have a better Cozumel,” he said.
