Material damage reported in late night Playa del Carmen Fifth Avenue fire

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Firemen and Civil Protection personnel were sent to the scene of a late night fire on Fifth Avenue Monday. Emergency services were at the scene where smoke was located emanating from under the closed door of a clothing shop.

Playa del Carmen firemen were able to break open the door where and enter the nearly smoked out premises. Although flames had not yet developed, visibility inside the shop was nonexistent due to the presence of thick smoke.
