Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The Attorney General’s Office of Quintana Roo (FGE) reports the arrest of Erick R., who was wanted on charges in the State of Mexico. The FGE says that Erick R. was taken into police custody in the parking lot at Playa Xpuhá on the Playa del Carmen – Tulum highway Sunday.
He was arrested after police learned of his outstanding arrest warrant for attempted rape of a minor in the State of Mexico.
After his arrest, the FGE says he was handed over to the ministerial authorities of the State of Mexico for transfer.
