Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The driver of a motorcycle who crashed into a highway guardrail remains critical in hospital. On Sunday, motorists reported the accident to emergency services who arrived to find a male in serious condition.
He was rushed to hospital with two fractures as well as serious face and head trauma. Motorists who saw the man crash told police that he lost control of his bike at a high rate of speed and landed head first into a section of highway guardrail. The injured man has not been publicly identified.
