Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man with an outstanding arrest warrant for rape was taken into custody from a Playa del Carmen neighborhood. On Thursday afternoon, Playa del Carmen police were sent to a residential area after reports of an aggressive man seen on public streets.
Officers located the man on CTM Avenue in the Villas del Sol neighborhood. When police ran his identification through Plataforma México, they learned of his outstanding arrest warrant.
According to the Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana of Quintana Roo, taken into custody from the street was Miguel Ángel “N”. He was wanted on accusations of rape. Additional details surrounding the outstanding warrant were not provided.
