Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man was pronounced on scene in an early morning road accident that happened Sunday outside Playa del Carmen.
Local authorities reported the accident occurred at 2:40 a.m. when the driver of a car lost control and left the federal roadway near Xcaret, crashing into trees. The impact caused his death. Reports say the driver was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed.
La Guardia Nacional (Policía Federal) and the Fiscalía General del Estado (FGE) attended the site. The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Pablo Cambranis Ruiz.
