Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man found driving the streets of Playa del Carmen with a loaded handgun was arrested from his vehicle Tuesday. Local officers stopped the man for driving erratically in the Ejido subdivision.
Once stopped, they found the loaded handgun along with 54 rounds. Officers who made the stop reported seeing a firearm sticking out of a suitcase inside the old-model SUV. Police proceeded to arrest 52-year-old Gabriel N from the state of Michoacán for illegal possession of a firearm.
