Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man who fell from the third story floor of a Playa del Carmen apartment complex has died. The man died Tuesday after falling from a patio five days earlier.
On August 10, 28-year-old César “N” was rushed to Playa del Carmen hospital after falling from the thrid floor of a 40th Avenue apartment building. The man’s fall was slowed slightly as he landed on wire cables before hitting the ground.
Neighbors from the Gonzalo Guerrero neighborhood called emergency services for help after hearing him land on the concrete below. Paramedics found him alive after the fall, however, on Tuesday, he died from head injuries.
Details as to how he fell from the balcony of the building are not known.
