Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A young male arrested on drug dealing charges is being investigated for murder. On Sunday, the Attorney General of Quintana Roo said that Donovan “N” was taken into custody for dealing narcotics.
Once in police custody, authorities began investigating him for a Playa del Carmen murder that took place July 23 of this year. The investigation stems from items found on Donovan “N” during his drug arrest.
According to police, “during the arrest of Donovan “N”, the cell phone belonging to the victim, a cap and gloves used on the day of the aforementioned event were found.”
The Attorney General reported that “the body of the victim was found on July 23 of this year in a state of decomposition with injuries caused by a sharp object. The body was on a property in the Galaxias 2 subdivision.”
