Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A Playa del Carmen traffic accident between three vehicles left one injured and at least 200,000 in damages. On Saturday around noon, three vehicles became involved in the crash that happened at the base of a vehicular bridge.
Emergency services were notified of the crash that left one car on its roof, and two more smashed. Preliminary reports detailed that a white Jetta attempted to lane change, colliding with a black Mazda.
That collision forced the Jetta into a Kia, which ended up crashing into a metal sign post. The Jetta then hit the sidewalk, which caused it to roll onto its roof. Firemen were called to the scene to remove one trapped minor from inside the Kia.
Police and paramedics were on scene, as were tow trucks to remove the metal mess from the busy roadway. The driver of the Jetta was arrested.
