López Obrador describes presidential transition as ‘unprecedented’

Mexico City, Mexico — President Andrés Manuel López Obrador says the transition to President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo is taking place in an orderly manner. The pair finished a work tour in the southeast that has been part of the transition.

On social media he indicated that the transition of the federal government is taking place in an orderly and fraternal manner, which he described as an unprecedented event.

López Obrador and Sheinbaum Pardo recently participated in evaluation meetings of priority projects of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit at the offices of the Cancún-Airport station of the Maya Train.

López Obrador says it is a project that will be delivered to the people of Mexico in September.
