Merida, Yucatan — Members of the National Guard were part of an operation that located 49 illegal migrants. Elements of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) in Yucatan arrested four people after they were found transporting the 49 Central American migrants.
Authorities located the migrants on a bus that had departed Campeche headed for Quintana Roo. The bus was intercepted in the municipality of Halachó. Authorities did not provide the nationalities of the four arrested.
