Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A two-vehicle crash outside the village of Paamul left substantial damage and three injured Sunday.
The accident happened on the Federal 307 at the height of Paamul about 20 kilometers south of Playa del Carmen around 6:00 p.m. when one driver reportedly lost control of his car and crossed the central lane, crashing head-on with another coming from the opposite direction.
The high-impact collision caused one vehicle to leave the road, coming to a stop on the shoulder. Federal Police and ambulance were called to the scene. All three were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
