Guatemalan wanted for rape of a minor extradited to face charges in Ohio court

Mexico City, Mexico — The Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) has extradited a person of Guatemalan nationality to the United States. On Saturday, Jorge “G” was handed over to U.S. authorities to face charges in a Butler County Ohio court room.

Jorge “G” was wanted on charges of rape and sexual assault of a minor.

According to the FGR, “from 2011 to 2017 Jorge “G” sexually assaulted a minor at the home they lived in Butler County, Ohio. After being located and detained in León, Guanajuato, in August 2022, the Government of Mexico granted the extradition of the defendant to the Government of the United States.”

Jorge “G” was transferred to the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) where he was handed over to the designated U.S. agents.
