Chetumal, Q.R. — A change in cabinet was announced Tuesday by state governor Carlos Joaquin. Joaquin said that several adjustments were made which included appointing José Alberto Alonso Ovando as head of the Strategic Projects Agency of the State of Quintana Roo (Agepro) and Eduardo Ortiz Jasso for the Institute for Development and State Financing (Idefin).
In his update, he also said that Bernardo Cueto Riestra will now head the State Secretariat for Tourism (Sedetur) and that Landy Blanco Lizama was appointed to the State Legal Department.
Recently, the governor of Quintana Roo had also appointed Carlos Ortiz Velázquez as head of the Directorate Against Sanitary Risks (Cofepris). Joaquin did not provide a reason for the changes.
