Four with drugs and replica shotgun detained from central Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Solidaridad law officials have removed four men from a central city neighborhood after they were found with drugs and a weapon. On Thursday, the four were taken into custody from 15th Avenue and 2nd Street when patrolling officers saw them exchanging bags.

A security inspection revealed 77 bags of various narcotics and one replica shot gun. Jailed was Christian “N” 29 and Jorge “N” 39 years old, both from the state of Guerrero.

Also arrested by Solidaridad Preventative Police was Eduardo “N”, 29 from Quintana Roo and Mario “N”, 26 from Tabasco.

According to the SSP of Solidaridad, “officers patrolling the area observed the subjects exchanging bags with possible narcotics, who tried to flee aboard a Volkswagen brand vehicle, Vento type, licensed as a taxi, with economic number 53, belonging to the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río Taxi Drivers Union, but they were intercepted.”
