Four ships in four days scheduled to dock at Cozumel

Cozumel, Q.R. — Four cruise ships are scheduled to dock the island of Cozumel next week, reports the general director of the Comprehensive Port Administration of Quintana Roo (APIQROO), Alicia Ricalde Magaña.

She says that from July 14 to 18, four ships are expected. On July 14, the Celebrity Edge cruise ship is scheduled to arrive at the SSA México international pier at 6:00 a.m. It will set sail the same day at 6:00 p.m. to continue to Nassau, Bahamas.

On July 15, the ocean liner Adventure of the Seas will arrive at the same maritime terminal that is located in the southern part of the island. The ship is scheduled to arrive at 6:00 a.m. and set sail at 4:45 p.m. the same day heading to Freeport, Bahamas.

Alicia Ricalde Magaña reported that also on July 15, the Carnival Vista will arrive at the Puerta Maya dock located in the southern part of the island. Cruise ship guests will arrive at 10:00 a.m. and depart the island at 6:00 p.m. that same day as they make their way back to Galveston, Texas.

Carnival Breeze is set to dock on July 17, arriving arriving at 8:00 a.m. and setting sail again at 4:00 p.m. also with a fixed course to Galveston, Texas.

Ricalde Magaña reports that the progressive increase in the arrival of cruise ships is encouraging news for residents who were hit hard by the pandemic.
