Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Four members of a policeman’s family were wounded when a lone man began shooting at their home. The shooting happened early Friday morning in La Guadalupana of Playa del Carmen.
Two men and two women who were injured by bullets, were outside the home at the time of the targeted attack. All four are reported to be related to a Playa del Carmen officer.
Police responded to the 2:20 a.m. report of the shooting where the family of four were outside eating when s lone male, reportedly dressed all in black, arrived and began firing his weapon.
The four victims, who ranged in ages from 35 to 42, were shot multiple times and are all reported to be hospitalized in serious condition.
