Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas — Four men will spend the next eight years and incarcerated in a Mexican prison after being found guilty of transporting cocaine. Nelson “C”, Jesús “V”, Noé “M” and Ribaldo “J”, all of Guatemalan nationality, were found guilty entering the country with the illegal narcotic.

The sentencing stems back to December of 2022 when their vessel was intercepted by Naval personnel 225 nautical miles off the coast of Puerto Chiapas. On their boat, authorities found 45 sacks that contained 900 packages of cocaine that weighed just over 895 kilos. They were intercepted bound for the Port.
