Mexico City, Mexico — The Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) has delivered two people of Mexican nationality to U.S. marshals. The handovers were made Wednesday from the Mexico City International Airport.
Both Enrique “G” and Jesús “O” were extradited to the U.S. to face charges regarding separate incidents.
According to the FGR, Enrique “G” was required by the Superior Court of the State of Washington in Benton County for the crime of child sexual abuse. He was arrested in February of this year in Irapuato, Guanajuato and held in a Mexican prison for extradition purposes.
The FGR also reported on Jesús “O”, who they say was wanted by the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, for the crime of homicide. Jesús “O” is accused of killing a man in August 2001. He was arrested in November 2023 in San Miguel de la Michilía, Súchil, Durango and also held for U.S. extradition purposes.
The Government of Mexico granted the extradition of those claimed to the United States Government. Both have been returned to face charges in American court.
