Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Three people have been charged with aggravated homicide against a Playa del Carmen man. The State Attorney General Raciel López Salazar reported that, through the Specialized Homicide Prosecutor’s Office, Juan Diego “N”, Fátima Beatriz “N” and Berenice “N” will stand trial.

During the Security Cabinet press conference, Salazar explained that at the end of April of this year, the victim and his young son were at their home in the Luis Donaldo Colosio neighborhood of Playa del Carmen.
There, Juan Diego “N” and Fátima “N” arrived in a vehicle with other individuals who began shouting at the man to open the door. When he refused, they jumped over the fence of the building to gain access.
“The suspects entered the building where they tied the man’s hands and feet and took him to the Bellavista neighborhood of Playa del Carmen,” he said.
Investigative police arrested all three while walking on a street in the Misión Villamar subdivision. A judge has ordered Juan Diego “N”, Fátima Beatriz “N”, and Berenice “N” to remain in detention for the duration of their trials.
