Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man has been arrested in the cold blooded murder of a Playa del Carmen resident. On Wednesday, the FGE of Quintana Roo reported the arrest of Néstor “B” for the September 18 murder of a local man.
According to the report by FGE state head Óscar Montes de Oca, Néstor “B” was arrested after shooting a man twice, leaving him for dead. The shooting happened in the streets of the Pescadores 2 subdivision of Playa del Carmen.
While on the street with the now-deceased, Néstor “B” shot the man with a 9mm firearm, causing him to fall. Néstor “B” then shot the unidentified man a second time while he was laying on the street. According to Montes de Oca, a municipal police officer witnessed the second shot and proceeded to arrest the shooter.
The victim was taken to hospital but later died. Néstor “B” has been formally charged with murder. A judge has ordered him to remain in prison during his trial.
