Tijuana, Baja California — Over 2.5 tons of marihuana was seized from a residential building in Tijuana Monday. Personnel from the Specialized Regional Control Prosecutor’s Office (FECOR) in Baja California seized the drugs and arrested four.
According to the investigation, elements of the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM) received an anonymous tip which stated that a property in the Buenos Aires Norte subdivision was used to sell drugs.
Elements of the PFM, from the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), located 245 packages that contained more than two and a half tons of marijuana. Gun ammo was also found at the scene. Taken into police custoday was Kimberly “V”, Irene J”, José “A” and Flora “H”.
The property, the detainees and the insured were placed at the disposal of the MPF, who initiated the investigation for drug related crimes and crimes stipulated in the Federal Firearms and Explosives Law.
