Feds find bags of crocodile skins along state highway

Chetumal, Q.R. — The Federal Police of Quintana Roo have reported the finding of two plastic bags containing crocodile skins along the state highway.

Police were performing routine surveillance along the Reforma Agraria Puerto Juárez-Tulum highway when they located two abandoned bags at a public transport stop.

Upon inspection, la Policía Federal de Quintana Roo discovered they contained crocodile skins.

The skins inside the bags, which were from two different types of crocodiles, were of protected reptile species in Mexico. They were secured for the Attorney General of the Republic.
